1. Perfect weather protection: Fully protected timber windows receive a new outer "bark" of durable, powder-coated aluminium. An unlimited range of colours is available for this wipe clean finish. 2. Perfect seal: Broxwood timber windows and doors are designed so that the joints between the wood and the glass and between aluminium and glass are sealed with selected, tested permanently elastic sealants. This ensures permanent durability of joints. The panes are installed according to technical glazier guidelines. 3. Triple protection: If requested, we will add a third or fourth seal in addition to the standard double-seal system. Our seals excel thanks to a high level of resistance to ageing, ozone, acids and alkalines. All system components such as extrusions and seals are developed by inhouse experts and guarantee perfect fitting, reliable functioning and long service life. 4. Top quality: Our laminated timber windows and doors are manufactured from highly durable woods to ensure top quality. 5. Easy cleaning: The edges on our alu-clad timber windows and doors are smoothly rounded. The advantage is that this makes cleaning easier. 6. Ideal back-ventilation: Wood and aluminium are kept apart - this allows the wood to breathe and the combination ensures ideal back-ventilation. The aluminium extrusions are flexibly fastened to the wood with special clips in order to provide for the different expansion of wood and aluminium. 7. Stable corner joints: All bevels (corners) are pressed and glued together with additional aluminium components for stability. 8. Stable fit: The glass batten has an allround force-locked joint with the window casement. In order to tighten the fit of the glass batten, the surrounding groove of the window frame has a wavy texture. For even lower u-values meeting Passive House standards, triple glazed options are available. 9. Long service life: Glazing rebate ventilation extends the service life of the insulation glass. 10. Ideal wood protection: Water runs off the glass through slits in the special drain rail. the surface of the rain protection rail is natural aluminium. It is thermally insulated, sealed with end caps and fastened without any screws (easy to clean).
