Timber Energy-Saving Windows

1. With a thickness of 80mm, the window frames are now much stronger. This allows even more variety of sizes, enhanced stability and increased sound-proofing and thermal insulation.

2.The surface coating is made up of four layers: wood consolidant, impregnation, an additional primer, and a high-quality final coating. As a result, we guarantee a durable surface thus prolonging your satisfaction with our quality products.

3. The V wood joints are sealed with compound, thus preventing water from getting into the wood.

4. Profiles and edges are smoothly rounded. This makes it easy to clean your new window. What’s more, it’s easy to apply surface protection so as to extend overall lifetime considerably.

5. The cold-shock spacer reduces heat loss in the glass/frame interface zone by approx. 25 % and thus helps save on heating costs.

6.Stable fit: the glass batten has an all-round force-locked joint with the window casement. In order to tighten the fit of the glass, the surrounding groove of the window frame has a wavy texture.

7.The energy-gaining glazing offers enhanced heat and sound insulation. That means low heating costs and top quality of life. In addition, sound insulation can be further increased by adding various types of glass and coatings. For even lower u-values meeting Passive House standards, triple glazed options are available.

8. The external base of the windows are fitted with aluminium drainage covers - at no extra cost. Weather effects such as rain, sun or hail don't have a chance.

9.The glass is sealed inside and outside with selected, tested sealants. This ensures permanent durability of joints. Glazing rebate ventilation extends the service life of the insulation glass and the casement wood.

10.A specially developed, backventilated aluminium weatherproofing rail is also integrated. This rail collects any rainwater and ducts it off of the sealing surface. The air begins to circulate in the semicircular swirling chamber, thus causing the water to flow away more quickly.

This technogolgy is available in various timber window types including fully reversible, tilt-turn, casement and sash windows. Also French, sliding patio and folding doors. A quality fitting service is also available.
