The Side Hung window is an ideal window to use where a traditional casement or cottage window is specified. The hinged sash is operated by a single handle but various ironmongery options are available. The window can also be supplied as a Side Swing type which allows the sash to be turned completely for easy cleaning from inside the building. This operation will not interfere with curtains or any plants on the window cill. Materials Manufactured from preservative treated laminated red pine. Unless specifically requested all laminated pine will also be finger jointed to reduce the incidence of knots and all timber used in manufacture will not exceed 12% moisture content. Available also in hardwoods including laminated larch, mahogany and oak. Finishes & Colours
