High Performance Windows Deliver Exceptional U Values

Independent windows and doors company Broxwood have launched their high performance, energy-saving Alpine range of timber windows and doors.

 

Imported from Austria, manufactured in pine, larch or oak, sourced from managed forests, these top-quality, double-draught sealed windows and doors deliver both looks and performance. Available in a wide variety of styles, from traditional to modern, the range includes a triple-sealed “Energysaver” window which can deliver U-values as low as 0.7w/Mk2.

All windows are treated with four coats of finish and come in a range of RAL and NCS colours. The Alpine range includes an especially low-maintenance, aluminium-coated window option, which can also be colour-finished.

The Alpine window specification includes:

  • v-wood joints sealed against water penetration
  • rounded profiles for easy cleaning and low maintenance
  • 80mm frames for enhanced stability and sound and thermal insulation.
  • 25% heat loss reduction at glass/frame interface
  • Aluminium drainage covers for weather proofing
  • Aluminium weatherproofing rail to duct away surface water
  • Glazing rebate ventilation extends product life
