Q. Where can I see Broxwood products?

Q. What is the U-Value of a window?

A. The U-value or “overall heat transfer coefficient” shows how well a building product conducts heat. In other words, the U-value represents the rate of heat transfer through a building element, such as a wall, floor or window, over a given area and under agreed standard conditions.

Q. Where are Broxwood products made?

A. Broxwood supplies premium Scandinavian products mainly sourced in Norway and we are also proud to supply our high-tech Alpine Energy Range which is sourced in Austria.

Q. What materials are used?

A. Sourced from sustainable sources, Broxwood products are predominately crafted from laminated pine or spruce but we can also supply oak, larch, mahogany and birch products. Q Are Broxwood products supplied pre-glazed?

A. Yes with numerous glazing options available.

Q. What product finish is available?

A. Broxwood products come with the highest standard of factory finish in any RAL paint colour or standard stain colour. Different colours can be selected for inside and outside the window.
 
Q.  Do you have a standard price list?

A. All our products are made to order and are priced accordingly. Please request a quote to consider.

Q.  What do I need to do to get a quotation?

A. Getting a quote for your perfect windows couldn’t be easier. Simply complete our online Request a Quote Form and return it to us. We will respond with our no obligation guideline price within 72 hours.

Alternatively provide a simple sketch and your window measurements, or you may wish to send us a copy of your project plans.

Q. Do you come and measure the doors/windows?

A. The person who will be installing the doors/windows is the best person to measure them. For initial quoting purposes a rough measure is all that is required.

Q. How soon can I expect to receive my quotation?
 
A. A standard quote will usually be returned to you within three working days.
 For larger and more complicated enquiries, please allow up to one week.

Q. What is the standard delivery time?

A. Depending on the type of products and quantities requested, you can normally expect standard delivery between 5 to 6 weeks from confirmation of order.

Q. Where are the items delivered?
 
A. Broxwood delivers your order direct to your site anywhere in the UK.

Q. How are the items delivered?
 
A. Your order will be transported by lorry and on a pallet which is shrink-wrapped.
 Offloading the products is the customer’s responsibility.

Q. How do I place an order?
 
A. Simply accept our quotation in writing either by email, fax or post.

Q. What if an item is incorrect or is delivered broken or damaged?

A. On the rare occasion that you experience a problem with your order, please be assured that Broxwood is on hand to help. Where there is a product or manufacturing fault, our service engineer will visit your site to fix, repair or replace the effected items at no extra cost. If the problem has occurred on site, our service engineer can also be scheduled to fix the problem for a nominal fee.

Q. Can Broxwood install my windows?
