French Doors are available in a range of sizes and are generally supplied fully glazed or with timber-lined effect using fully insulated panels to your height choice. Materials Manufactured from laminated red pine as standard and, unless specifically requested all laminated pine will be finger jointed to reduce the incidence of knots. All red pine will be preservative treated and all timber used in manufacture does not exceed 12% moisture content. Broxwood French doors can also be supplied in a variety of hardwoods including laminated larch, mahogany and oak Finishes & Colours All products are offered with a factory finish. Finish can be either stain or paint finish to choice. A full range of RAL colours is available with the paint finishes. Option available for different colour inside and out. Factory finish guarantees excellent protection and penetration into end grains. Factory finish assures better bonding between wood and stain/paint research shows bonding is up to 30% better being carried out in controlled environment. French Doors are available with aluminium cladding powder coated in white as standard. A full range of RAL colours is also available.
Glazing Standard glazing is double sealed glass units using toughened/laminated glass inside and out and with low-energy glass (minimum u value=1.4) Alternative glazing options are available to give increased insulation, high security, solar control or sound insulation. Options A number of options are available including arched over lights, sidelights manufactured as part of the door. Various glazing options are also available.
Doors can be supplied with fully insulated timber lined panels in heights to choice. Locking Systems French doors available with locking cylinder either outside or inside or both sides. French doors come with three point espagnolette locking system. On outward opening doors the lead door has a friction stay which allows locking in any position from 0’ to 90’ by using the door handle.
Handles Vents and Hinges Vents available in brown, white or aluminium. Vents only fitted to French Doors if specified. Hinges are available in natural, brown, white or any RAL colour.
